As x approaches 0 the quantity 3x also approaches 0, so the standard limit sin(u)/u equals 1 applies to the second factor and the value is 3/5. Option A comes from substituting x = 0 into the numerator alone and ignoring the indeterminate form. Option C inverts the coefficients. Option D applies the standard limit without first matching the argument of the sine to the denominator, which is the step the question is really testing. L’Hospital’s rule gives the same result: 3cos(3x)/5 evaluated at 0 is 3/5.
